Clearwater capital partners strategic technology partner, Envestnet Tamarac, rated best in class

Clearwater Capital Partners is pleased to announce that one of our strategic technology partners, Envestnet Tamarac, has recently been ranked “best in class” by Aite in the portfolio management software category. Leveraging the Aite Matrix, a proprietary Aite Group vendor assessment framework, this Impact Report evaluates the overall competitive position of each vendor, focusing on vendor stability, client strength, product features, and client services.

“Over the past 14 years we have committed tremendous resources to ensuring that we are utilizing world class systems to serve our clients. As much of our industry continues to reject technology or change, we work to embrace new technology and ensure our systems remain at the cutting edge of capability, both client facing and internally. After months of due diligence we selected Envestnet Tamarac for our Portfolio Management / Trading Platform as part of a major system overhaul in 2018. We concluded they were the best in the business two years ago, and we are proud to see they remain the best in class solution as indicated by this study.” said James Chapman, Chief Innovation Officer.

Clearwater Capital currently utilizes the Envestnet Tamarac platform for portfolio accounting, performance reporting, rebalancing, trading, billing, client portal, app, and billing. Tamarac’s web-based platform for Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), the Tamarac Suite, unifies portfolio management, modeling, rebalancing, trading, billing, and reporting with a client portal and an enterprise-level CRM system. Tamarac’s key strengths include dynamic integration between key system components used by advisors, report customization, system integration, and data integrity.

“Having the right technology partner to support our carefully constructed investment strategies for clients is paramount. In our rigorous due diligence of several trading and rebalancing solutions it was clear to us that Tamarac was that right partner. Especially in a year that has seen a pandemic and extremely volatile markets, Tamarac has supported us in our ability to move quickly and effectively in client strategies. We are always evaluating our technology partners and are pleased that Tamarac continues to be a best in class solution.” Said Tyler Beachler, Director of Portfolio Management.

The study evaluated technology providers to RIAs in accordance with the Aite Matrix, a proprietary Aite Group vendor assessment framework which focuses on vendor stability, client strength, product features, and client service. The Aite Matrix impact report compares and contrasts leading vendor offerings and strategies to help RIAs select the ideal portfolio management and reporting solutions for meeting the changing needs of their clients.
